CRL Z-Series Square Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU: Z812MBL) is a heavy-duty half-inch glass clamp designed for 1/2" (12 mm) tempered glass. Available in zinc or stainless steel, this square flat-base clamp provides secure mounting to square tubing or other flat surfaces—making it an ideal glass clamp for railings, partitions, mezzanines, and exterior windbreaks.

For securing the Z-clamp to thin-wall tubing (< 1/8"), use CRL ZBOLT socket head cap bolt and ZRNUT rivet nut. Drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole, then install the rivet-nut using the 34604 heavy-duty thread insert tool with the 34618 5/16" mandrel and nosepiece.

NOTE: A 9/16" (14.3 mm) hole is required if using the included steel pin for additional glass support.

Product Warning
For interior installations where the glass is not supported from the bottom edge, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pin are provided with each clamp.
