This CRL Z-Series Square Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU: Z812BR) secures 1/2" (12 mm) glass and is ideal for railings, partitions, mezzanines and windbreaks where a low-profile, flat-base clamp is required. Made of zinc or stainless steel, or powder-painted zinc for improved exterior durability, the clamp includes rubber gaskets and a steel support pin with grommet.

For securing the clamp to thin-wall tubing (less than 1/8"), use CRL's ZBOLT socket head cap bolt and ZRNUT rivet nut. Installation: drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole, install the rivet-nut using the 34604 heavy-duty thread insert tool with the 34618 5/16" mandrel and nosepiece. NOTE: a 9/16" (14.3 mm) hole is required when using the included steel pin for additional glass support.

Product Warning:

For interior installations where the glass is not supported at the bottom edge, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
