Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905; 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented glass door rail system secures glass by applying downward pressure with two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar, creating exceptional clamp force for a secure, long-lasting attachment.

How it works: as the stainless bar is tightened, angled extrusions seat into the rail wedge and draw together, compressing the door retaining gasket to produce high holding force (more than 900 lbs. in our 9" corner rail). This design provides a reliable full-length grip across our rails and simplifies installation for frameless glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® System offers the fastest installation time among door rail systems—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the preassembled adjustable door alignment slide.

Adjustable Door Alignment System: standard on top and bottom rails, allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. Remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts—center bolt secures the slide; outer bolts provide the adjustment. The low-profile slide permits pivot positioning other than the American Standard 2-3/4" (69.8 mm) setback and supports fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
