CRL Sof® Rod is a premium sealant backing material designed to effectively control sealant depth and act as a reliable bond breaker, compatible with both cold-applied and hot-pour sealants.
Its soft material ensures easy compression during installation, and its unique dual-celled structure prevents sealant bubbling and failure.
Available in diameters ranging from 3/8” to 2” (10 to 51 mm), CRL Sof® Rod is ideal for applications such as glazing, curtain wall construction, and log home chinking.
For optimal performance, ensure proper size selection by choosing a rod 25-50% wider than the joint.
Store in a ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
