The CRL DC52 (SKU DC52A) Size 2 Surface Mount Door Closer is designed for light commercial and residential door control. The Size 2 spring fits interior doors up to 36" (914 mm) and exterior doors up to 32" (813 mm) wide, with applicable door weights between 66 and 99 lbs. (30–45 kg). Features include an adjustable back check to protect doors and hardware from wind or excessive swings, plus independent closing and latching speed adjustments for smooth, reliable operation—ideal when you need a surface mount door closer size 2 for interior or exterior installations.
All CRL Surface Mounted Closers are UL Listed and covered by a 10-year warranty. Each closer ships with a Parallel Arm Bracket and mounting hardware for universal installation (regular, top jamb, or parallel arm). Optional accessories such as Drop Plates and Hold Open Arms are available for specialized installs.
