CRL DC54 Size 4 Surface Mount Door Closer (SKU: DC54A) is built for most commercial and heavy-duty residential doors. Size 4 spring power fits interior doors up to 48" (122 cm) and exterior doors up to 42" (107 cm), with recommended door weight between 143–187 lbs (65–85 kg). The closer includes an adjustable back check to protect doors and hardware from wind or violent swings, plus independently adjustable closing and latching speeds to ensure smooth, controlled operation for ADA and high-traffic applications.
Each closer ships with a parallel arm bracket and mounting hardware for universal installation (regular, top-jamb, or parallel arm). Optional accessories, such as Drop Plates and Hold Open Arms, are available for specialized installations.
