CRL carries a Size 5, CRL DC55 Heavy-Duty Surface Mount Door Closer (SKU: DC55A) designed for demanding commercial door applications. This heavy-duty surface mount door closer fits doors up to 48" (1.22 m) wide and weighing 187–264 lbs (85–120 kg). Features include reversible mounting for top-jamb, parallel-arm or standard installations, variable sweep (closing) speed, adjustable latching-speed trim for secure latching, and an adjustable backcheck to help prevent damage from violent opening due to wind or heavy traffic.
All CRL surface mounted closers are UL listed and backed by a 10-year warranty. A parallel arm bracket and mounting hardware are included for universal installation. Optional accessories such as Drop Plates and Hold Open Arms are available for specialty installs. Increase brand recognition with customized private labeling—CRL DC53, DC54 and DC55 models are available in plain boxes and ready to be private labeled.
