CRL DC50 Series Surface Mounted Door Closers cover a wide range of door sizes and weights — from size 1 (DC51/DC51A SKU: DC51A) for light commercial and residential use up to size 5 (DC55) for heavy commercial doors. Independent closing and latching speed adjustments deliver smooth, reliable door control for storefronts, apartments, offices, and institutional entrances.
An adjustable backcheck is standard on DC52–DC55 models to protect doors and hardware from wind or forceful swings. Every DC50 series closer ships with parallel arm brackets and mounting hardware for universal installation (regular, top jamb, or parallel arm). Optional accessories such as drop plates and hold‑open arms are available for special installations and retrofit projects.
