CRL carries a Size 5, CRL DC55 Heavy-Duty Surface Mount Door Closer (SKU: DC55BRZ) designed for demanding commercial and residential applications. Suitable for doors up to 48" (1.22 m) wide and weighing 187–264 lbs. (85–120 kg), the DC55 delivers reliable performance for heavy commercial doors. Variable sweep (closing) speed and adjustable latching speed ensure precise closure and secure latching, while an adjustable backcheck protects the closer, door, and adjacent surfaces from damage caused by violent openings.

All CRL surface mounted closers are U.L. listed and covered by a 10-year warranty. Each closer includes a parallel arm bracket and mounting hardware for universal installation (regular, top jamb, or parallel arm).
