The CRL PR80 Series Multi-Size Adjustable Spring Power Surface Mounted Door Closers (SKU: PR80DU) provide a compact, retrofit-friendly solution for commercial and institutional doors. Matching the common 9-1/16" x 3/4" (230 x 19 mm) hole template, these surface mounted door closers fit new and replacement installations. Adjustable from Size 1 through 5, they accommodate doors from 24"–54" (610 mm–1.37 m) and up to 264 lbs (120 kg). Barrier-Free (low opening resistance) models are available to meet ADA barrier-free door closer requirements. Independent closing and latching speed controls plus an adjustable backcheck protect the closer, door, and surrounding surfaces from hard openings due to wind or heavy traffic. Each PR80 closer is UL listed and backed by a ten-year warranty. Parallel arm brackets and mounting hardware are included for regular, top jamb, or parallel arm installations. Closers ship with a standard plastic slim-style cover; optional accessories (Drop Plates, Hold Open Arms) are available for special installations.
