The CRL PR80 Series PR80A — Multi-Size Adjustable Spring Power Surface Mounted Door Closers replace single-size surface closers with one compact, retrofit-ready unit. The closer uses the common 9-1/16" x 3/4" (230 x 19 mm) hole template for quick installation and adjusts from Size 1 through 5 to cover a wide range of door widths and weights. A Barrier-Free (low opening resistance) model is available for ADA-compliant installations. Independent closing and latching speed controls plus an adjustable backcheck protect the closer, door, and adjacent surfaces from wind or heavy pedestrian impact.
All PR80 closers are UL listed and carry a ten-year warranty. Each unit ships with Parallel Arm Brackets and mounting hardware for regular, top-jamb, or parallel-arm installation. The closer includes a standard plastic slim-style cover; optional accessories such as drop plates and hold-open arms are available for special installations.
