Designed for backer rods 1/8" (3 mm) and larger, the interchangeable rollers and adjustable depth control deliver consistent insertion without damaging closed or open cell backer rod. Durable nylon wheels prevent scuffing or scratching of adjacent channel walls.
The complete set includes two roller frame units: a Standard Backer Rod Insertion Tool for larger applications — masonry expansion joints, precast panel joints, pavement/floor joints, and EIFS/stucco — and a Close-Quarters Insertion Tool for tight spaces such as window perimeters, steps, curtainwalls, and corners. The main frame accepts a standard threaded broom handle for extended reach.
