GE® SilPruf® Silicone Sealant (SKU: SCS2003) is a one-part, neutral-cure silicone formulated for long-lasting weatherproofing and glazing on a wide variety of building materials.


Basic Uses
Upon application the sealant cures with atmospheric moisture to form a low-modulus silicone rubber seal. SilPruf® is designed for butt and lap-shear joints subject to movement and is suitable for sealing assemblies of metals, masonry, concrete, coated surfaces, plastics, wood, and other common building materials.

Comparable Sealants
Comparable products include CRL 95C, Dow Corning® 791/795, Tremco® Spectrem® 2/3, Pecora 864/895, Sonneborn Omniseal, and SikaS il®-WS95.

Limitations
Structural glazing applications require prior written approval from GE® Silicones for each project. Refer to the cartridge label and the Specification Data Sheet for additional limitations and installation guidance.

Technical Data
Meets or exceeds Federal Specification TT-S-001543A (COMNBS) Class A for silicone building sealants and complies with ASTM C1184 and ASTM C920 (Type S, Grade NS, Class 25; Use NT, G, A, O).
