This aluminum extrusion (SKU NH3BLSL) was developed for three primary uses in commercial glass door systems:

(1) As an aluminum U-channel that matches the width of CRL sidelite rails and door rails;

(2) As a narrow header, equal in width to our sidelite and door rails, capable of accepting a top free-swinging pivot to secure the top of the doors;

(3) As an even sight line system: secure the fabricated narrow header to the opening, then attach the sidelite rail to the narrow header using the 1/4" (6 mm) header saddle for a consistent sight line. All drilling, tapping, and fabrication can be completed at manufacture on request to save installation time.
