This aluminum extrusion is engineered for three core uses:
(1) as a U-channel matching CRL sidelite and door rails;
(2) as a narrow header that accepts a top free-swinging pivot to secure the top of doors;
(3) as an even sight line system—install the fabricated narrow header, then secure the sidelite rail to the header using the 1/4" (6 mm) header saddle.

All drilling, tapping, and fabrication can be completed at manufacture to save installation time.
