Overview: CRL Senior and Junior Prima pivot hinges are glass-to-fixed transom mount hinges engineered for tempered safety glass shower doors and transom applications. These self-centering pivot hinges feature four retention springs for maximum holding strength and are designed to carry most of the door weight at the bottom, allowing inset installation that preserves clearance for towel bars and other projections.

Key Differentiators: Self-centering pivot action; top-and-bottom mount for more visible glass exposure and reduced glass fabrication cut-outs compared with side-mount glass-to-glass hinges; solid brass construction for corrosion resistance; patented design (Patent No. 5,297,313).

Compatibility Notes: SRPPH01 adapts to the Deluxe Header System. SRPPH06 includes an adapter for the EZ-Adjust Header System (only compatible with EZ-Adjust). Junior Prima Series adapts to the Junior Header Kit.

SENIOR PRIMA: Using two hinges with 1/2" (12 mm) tempered safety glass, holds up to 145 lbs. (66 kg) with maximum door width of 36" (914 mm). Ideal for heavier framed or frameless shower doors and transom-mounted pivot doors.

JUNIOR PRIMA: Using two hinges with 1/4" (6 mm) tempered safety glass, holds up to 62 lbs. (28 kg) with maximum door width of 28" (711 mm). Suitable for lighter residential shower doors.
