Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This patented wedge action secures the glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the door rail to pull the retaining extrusions together, producing exceptional clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in a 9" corner rail).

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers a secure glass attachment plus the fastest installation time among door rails. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. Rails come completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps pre-installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System lets you shift the door 1/8" (3.2 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door—standard on both top and bottom rails. Remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
