Overview: The CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail is an innovative glass door rail system designed for monolithic tempered glass doors. The patented Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905; 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) secures the glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled wedges pull the extrusions together, producing exceptional clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), and providing a highly secure tempered glass door mounting for commercial entrances.
