Our innovative glass entrance product, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TDU12S) uses the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System to clamp glass securely from the bottom of the rail. The assembly employs two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions compressed by a flat stainless steel bar and socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions seat in an angled groove in the door rail so the wedge action pulls the extrusions together, producing very high retention force — more than 900 lbs. in our 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail and proportionally greater force in the full 35-3/4" (908 mm) rail. This makes the system an industry-leading solution for secure glass door rails and heavy-duty glass entry systems.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers fast, reliable installation for commercial glass doors. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails arrive fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

To adjust the door after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out.
