Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TMBL12S) is engineered for tempered glass doors and features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, and European Patent No. EP 1 404 939 B1). The wedge-lock design secures glass using two aluminum retaining extrusions compressed by a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail, producing very high clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in our 9" Corner Rail) for reliable glass retention in 3/8" to 3/4" glass entrance doors.

After installation, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the adjustable slide; the outer bolts provide the 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out adjustment. The low-profile slide allows pivots with slotted grooves to be positioned other than the American Standard Setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm).

NOTE: All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include the built-in Jamb Alignment Block; arms and pivots must be ordered separately to meet job requirements.
