Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This wedge-driven design applies downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. The angled extrusions seat into the door rail groove and, together with the door retaining gasket, develop very high retention force in the corner and full-length rails—delivering secure, reliable glass retention for storefront and commercial glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides rapid installation time and durable performance. Rails arrive completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the pre-assembled adjustable door alignment slide. The adjustable slide allows 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out door adjustment on both top and bottom rails without removing the door—ideal for vertically out-of-square openings.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide, and the two outer bolts adjust the door position. The low-profile adjustable slide permits pivot placement other than the American Standard setback of 2-3/4" (69.8 mm).
