Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905; 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure monolithic tempered glass quickly and reliably. The system applies downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail, producing very high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), delivering industry-leading glass retention for full-length 35-3/4" (908 mm) door rails.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System not only provides superior holding strength but also offers the fastest install time of any door rail system in the market. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps pre-installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The Adjustable Door Alignment System lets you fine-tune the door 1/8" (3.2 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door — standard on both top and bottom rails.

To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center securing bolt locks the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide ±1/8" (3.2 mm). The low-profile slide and slotted pivot grooves allow positioning away from the American Standard setback, enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
