Our innovative CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This secure, patented method clamps glass by applying downward pressure with two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled wedges pull the extrusions together, producing very high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail) — delivering a reliable, heavy-duty attachment for frameless glass doors and storefronts.

The Wedge-Lock® system also provides the fastest installation time of any door rail system in the industry. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in less than ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The built-in Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. This feature is standard on both top and bottom rails. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the outer bolts adjust the slide in or out. The low-profile adjustable slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned off the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm) to accommodate vertically out-of-square openings.
