Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TPS34SL) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System. This patented wedge action applies downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is pulled down with socket head cap bolts, the angled wedge in the rail forces the extrusions together and, combined with the door retaining gasket, generates tremendous clamp force (over 900 lbs in the 9" / 228.6 mm corner rail). The full-length 35-3/4" (908 mm) rails create proportionally greater holding force for secure glass retention in commercial and architectural doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers more than secure glass attachment — it offers the fastest installation time of any door rail system in the industry. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps preinstalled. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The Adjustable Door Alignment System allows 1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. This low-profile slide is standard on both top and bottom rails and enables non-standard pivot setbacks and fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide in or out.
