Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TBL12SL) is engineered for secure, fast installation of 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass doors. The exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) clamps the glass using two aluminum retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel wedge bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail to generate exceptional holding force—over 900 lbs. in our 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail—resulting in even greater holding capacity in the full-length 35-3/4" (908 mm) door rail.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers more than a secure attachment—it is one of the fastest door rail installations available. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide pre-assembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System (top and bottom rails) lets you adjust the door ±1/8" (3.2 mm) toward or away from the jamb without removing the door. Remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: center bolt locks the slide, outer bolts provide the in/out adjustment. The low-profile slide allows pivot positioning other than the American Standard Setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm) and accommodates vertically out-of-square openings.
