CRL Prima Series Pivot Hinges are glass-to-fixed transom pivot hinges engineered for 5/16" to 3/8" (8–10 mm) tempered safety glass. These self-centering pivot hinges use four springs for maximum retention strength and carry the majority of the door weight on the bottom—allowing the door to be inset from the wall for clearance of towel bars and other projections. Solid brass construction and full-rotation hinge swing deliver durable performance for residential and hotel shower enclosures.

Key differentiators: Solid brass construction, top-and-bottom mount design to show more glass, reduced cut-outs compared to standard side-mount glass-to-glass hinges, and patented design (Patent No. 5,297,313).

Optional 5° Pivot Pin Set (Cat. No. P1VP1N): Available separately to alter door closing position by 5 degrees. Sold as a set (top and bottom). Can be inserted prior to installation or retrofitted after installation. Pre-set 5° hinge models are also available from stock. (Not included with hinge purchase.)

Using two hinges: With 5/16"–3/8" glass (8–10 mm), two hinges hold up to 100 lbs (45 kg) with a maximum door width of 31" (787 mm).
