CRL Z-Series Round Type Radius Base Glass Clamps (SKU: Z406SC) work with glass from 1/4" to 1/2" (6–12 mm) and are offered in zinc or stainless steel. These round radius base clamps provide a low-profile, durable solution for railings, partitions, mezzanines and exterior windbreaks where a secure glass-to-tube or glass-to-flat-surface connection is required.
For attaching the Z-Clamp to thin-wall tubing (<1/8"), use CRL ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. Drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole and install the Rivet-Nut with the 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool and 34618 5/16" mandrel and nosepiece.
NOTE: A 1/2" (12 mm) hole is required if using the steel pin for additional glass support.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Glass thicknesses: 1/4" and 5/16" (6 and 8 mm); compatible with up to 1/2" (12 mm)
- Base design: Flat radius base for round clamp mounting
- Use with: Square tubing or other flat surfaces
- Material: Zinc or stainless steel. Stainless steel or powder-painted zinc recommended for exterior durability.
- Glass fabrication:
- For 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8 mm) and 3/8" (10 mm): 1/2" (12 mm) diameter hole required if using steel pin
- For 1/2" (12 mm): 9/16" (14 mm) diameter hole required if using steel pin

Product warning: For interior applications where the glass is not supported from the bottom edge, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided.
