Our CRL Z-Series Round Type Radius Base Glass Clamps (SKU Z406CH) secure 1/4" up to 1/2" (6 to 12 mm) glass and are offered in zinc or stainless steel. These round radius base glass clamps are ideal for partitions, railings, mezzanines and exterior windbreaks where a durable, low-profile glass-to-tubing clamp is needed.
For fastening to thin-wall tubing (<1/8”), use CRL ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. Drill a 17/32” (13.5 mm) hole and install the rivet-nut with the 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool and 34618 5/16” mandrel and nosepiece.
NOTE: 1/2" (12 mm) hole is required if using the steel pin (included) for additional glass support.
SPECIFICATIONS:
- Glass Thicknesses: For 1/4" and 5/16" (6 and 8 mm) — clamps accept up to 1/2" (12 mm)
- Base Design: Flat radius base for secure mounting to square tubing or other flat surfaces
- Material: Zinc-constructed or stainless steel. Stainless steel or powder-painted zinc recommended for exterior durability
- Glass Fabrication:
- For 1/4" (6 mm), 5/16" (8 mm), and 3/8" (10 mm) glass: 1/2" (12 mm) diameter hole required if using the provided steel pin
