This CRL Z-Series Square Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU: Z806CH) secures 6–8 mm glass and is available in zinc or stainless steel. Ideal for glass partitions, railings, windbreaks and other architectural projects requiring a low-profile flat-base clamp. Recommended for use with monolithic tempered glass for safety and durability.

For securing the Z-Clamp to thin-wall tubing (< 1/8"), use CRL ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. Drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole, then install the rivet-nut using the 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool with the 34618 5/16" mandrel and nosepiece.

NOTE: A 1/2" (12 mm) hole is required if using the steel pin for additional glass support.

Glass fabrication:

• For 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm glass: 1/2" (12 mm) hole required if using steel pin.
• For 12 mm glass: 9/16" (14 mm) hole required if using steel pin.

Includes: Rubber gaskets, steel pin (optional use) with grommet.
Replacement screws: CRL ZCS5X5CH.

Product warning: For interior installations where glass is not supported at the bottom edge, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
