CRL Z-Series Square Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU: Z806BN) is engineered for 1/4"–5/16" (6–8 mm) glass and installs easily on square tubing or other flat surfaces. Available in zinc or stainless steel, these flat-base glass clamps are designed for partitions, railings, windbreaks and other architectural glass projects. Stainless steel or powder-painted zinc options increase durability for exterior applications.

For securing the Z-Clamp to thin-wall tubing (< 1/8”), use CRL ZB0LT socket head cap bolt and ZRNUT rivet-nut. Drill a 17/32” (13.5 mm) hole, then install the rivet-nut using the 34604 heavy-duty thread insert tool with the 34618 5/16” mandrel and nosepiece.

NOTE: A 1/2" (12 mm) hole is required if using the steel pin for additional glass support.

• For 1/2" (12 mm) glass: 9/16" (14 mm) diameter hole required if using the steel pin

Product Warning:
For interior installations where the glass is not supported at the bottom edge, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
