Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TPS12P), features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This wedge-based securing method applies downward pressure via two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar, drawing the angled extrusions together in the door rail groove for exceptional glass retention. In our 9" (228.6 mm) Corner Rail this system generates more than 900 lbs. of force (about 100 lbs. per inch), and it scales proportionally in full-length rails such as the 35-3/4" (908 mm) Door Rail. The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System delivers secure attachment plus industry-leading installation speed. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with End Caps installed. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) door adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door, on both top and bottom rails. To make final adjustments after hanging the door, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the adjustable slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in or out. The low-profile adjustable slide permits pivot placement outside the American Standard Setback of 2-3/4" (69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
