Our CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System features the patented Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2, Canadian Patent 2,419,706, European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This innovative door rail for glass doors secures the glass from the bottom using two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, the angled extrusions engage the door rail wedge, generating high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" (228.6 mm) corner rail).

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers fast installation and reliable long-term performance for commercial glass doors. Rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The standard adjustable door alignment slide provides +/-1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without removing the door. Remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the outer bolts provide the 1/8" adjustment. Low-profile slides enable pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), allowing fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
