Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TBS38P) features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for reliable glass door installations, the system secures the glass by applying downward pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, the angled extrusions wedge together in the rail groove and, combined with a specially designed door-retaining gasket, generate exceptional holding force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail). This robust action scales across full-length rails for strong, durable attachment in heavy-use glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers secure attachment plus one of the fastest installation times among door rail systems—experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® door rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps pre-installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail. The adjustable alignment system provides ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door; this feature is standard on both top and bottom rails.

To adjust the door after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center secures the adjustable slide; the two outer bolts allow the ±1/8" adjustment. The low-profile slide and slotted pivot grooves permit non-standard setback positions and fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
