CRL Sealant Tape is a high-quality black synthetic rubber tape reinforced with lightweight polyester cloth to eliminate stretching and prevent creeping or sagging in service. It adheres well to most surfaces—even in vertical or overhead positions—and forms a watertight, gasket-like seal with outstanding weather resistance. Accelerated weather testing showed no loss of flexibility or resiliency and no surface cracking after 1,300 hours of exposure. The tape also endures sub-zero temperatures down to -70°F (-56.7°C) and features aggressive tack for application temperatures as low as 40°F (4°C). Peel-and-stick application is quick and allows repositioning without damaging the tape or substrate, making it ideal for exterior weatherproofing, window and door seals, roofing repairs, and marine or industrial gasketing.
