CRL 5/8" Sof® Rod - 100 Foot Roll

The CRL Sof® Rod is an innovative sealant backing material designed to control sealant depth and act as a highly effective bond breaker.
Compatible with both cold-applied and hot-pour sealants, this product features a soft material for easy installation compression.
It is constructed from extruded polyolefin foam with both open and closed cells, ensuring no out-gassing and preventing sealant bubbling.
Available in diameters from 3/8” to 2”, the CRL Sof® Rod is ideal for applications such as glazing, curtain wall construction, and more.
For optimal performance, select a rod that is 25-50% wider than the joint to ensure a secure fit.
Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
