CRL Cologne Hinges are a heavy-duty shower hinge option designed for wider, heavier frameless glass doors. Compared to Vienna Hinges, Cologne Hinges feature radius corners and beveled edges for a sleek, low-profile look. Two internal steel pins provide mounting versatility: leave the pins in for CRL "mouse-ears" cut-outs, or remove them to fit CRL rectangular (square-corner) cut-outs and, in some cases, competitive rectangular cut-outs.

STANDARD REVERSIBLE PIVOT PIN: Each hinge includes a reversible pivot pin with 90° on one side and 85° on the other. Standard hinges ship with the 90° side activated; Pre-Set models (5°) ship with 85° engaged. Rotate the pin (do not flip) to change sides.

CUSTOM PIVOT PIN: Custom pivot pins are available up to 45° for off-angle installations where the wall does not meet the door at 90°. Specify required angle if the standard pin does not achieve desired closure.

Load Capacity & Installation:
Using two hinges with 3/8"–1/2" glass (10–12 mm): holds up to 110 lb (50 kg); maximum door width 36" (914 mm).
Using three hinges with 3/8"–1/2" glass (10–12 mm): holds up to 140 lb (63 kg); maximum door width 36" (914 mm).
