Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SPB12SL) features the exclusive Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for commercial and architectural glass doors, this door rail secures monolithic tempered glass by applying downward wedge pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions engage an angled groove in the rail to produce exceptionally high retained force—more than 900 lbs. in our 9" corner rail—resulting in a robust, long-lasting glass mount across the full 35-3/4" (908 mm) rail.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System also delivers industry-leading installation speed. Experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails arrive fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After installing the rail, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The built-in Adjustable Door Alignment System allows 1/8" (3 mm) in/out adjustment without removing the door and is standard on both top and bottom rails. To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts—the center secures the slide; the outer bolts provide the 1/8" adjustment. The low-profile slide and slotted pivot grooves support non-standard setbacks and vertically out-of-square openings.

Other advantages: models accept 3/8" to 3/4" (10 to 19 mm) glass; a rigid single-component housing that resists shifting or loss of adjustment; internal components remain in place during installation; and durable glass securing pads designed for extreme environments. All Wedge-Lock® Door Rails include the built-in Jamb Alignment Block; arms and pivots must be ordered separately to meet job requirements.
