Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR10SBL12SL), uses the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) to secure monolithic tempered glass reliably and quickly. The system clamps the glass between two aluminum retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is torqued with socket head cap bolts, angled retaining extrusions seat into the rail groove, creating wedge pressure and up to 900+ lbs. of force in a 9" corner rail—resulting in exceptional long-term hold across the full 35-3/4" (908 mm) door rail length.

The Wedge-Lock® design provides faster installations than traditional door rails—experienced installers can prepare a door in under ten minutes. Rails arrive fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps fitted. After rail installation, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the assembled adjustable door alignment slide. The adjustable system (standard on top and bottom rails) allows ±1/8" (3 mm) door lateral adjustment without removing the door.

To fine-tune alignment after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt locks the slide, the two outer bolts adjust the slide 1/8" (3 mm) in or out. The low-profile slide permits pivot placement offset from the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
