Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, is engineered for frameless and semi-frameless glass doors and features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for secure, long-lasting attachment, the system uses two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts. As the bar is drawn down, angled wedges in the rail pull the retaining extrusions together, creating exceptional clamping force (over 900 lbs. in our 9" corner rail) for reliable glass retention in full-length 35-3/4" (908 mm) rails.

The Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System delivers industry-leading installation speed for glass door rails. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. Rails ship completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide preassembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb without removing the door (standard on both top and bottom rails). To adjust after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center secures the slide, and the outer two provide the 1/8" adjustment. The low-profile slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned off the American Standard setback for vertically out-of-square openings.
