CRL Z-Series Square Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU: Z810BR) is engineered for 3/8" (10 mm) glass and features a flat base for secure mounting to square tubing or other flat surfaces. Constructed from zinc casting with a powder-painted finish, this clamp offers corrosion resistance and clean aesthetics. An optional steel pin provides added weight and lateral support for glass panels—ideal for railings, partitions, windbreaks, and other architectural projects.

Installation Notes: For securing the Z-clamp to thin-wall tubing (<1/8"), use CRL ZB0LT Socket Head Cap Bolt and ZRNUT Rivet-Nut. Drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole, then install the rivet-nut using the 34604 Heavy-Duty Thread Insert tool with the 34618 5/16" mandrel and nosepiece. If using the included steel pin for additional support, drill a 1/2" (12 mm) hole. For 1/2" (12 mm) thick glass requiring the pin, drill a 9/16" (14 mm) hole.

Product Warning:
For interior installations where the glass is not supported on the bottom edge, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
