This CRL Z-Series Square Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU: Z810SC) secures 3/8" (10 mm) glass and features a flat base for mounting to square tubing or other flat surfaces. Constructed of zinc casting with a powder-painted finish; stainless steel option available for enhanced exterior durability. Includes rubber gaskets and an optional steel pin for extra weight support—ideal for partitions, railings, windbreaks and other architectural glass projects.

For securing the Z-Clamp to thin-wall tubing (less than 1/8"), use CRL’s ZB0LT socket head cap bolt and ZRNUT rivet-nut. Drill a 17/32" (13.5 mm) hole, then install the rivet-nut using the 34604 heavy-duty thread insert tool with the 34618 5/16" mandrel and nosepiece.

NOTE: A 1/2" (12 mm) hole is required if using the included steel pin for additional glass support.

• For 1/2" (12 mm) glass: 9/16" (14 mm) diameter hole required when using steel pin

Product Warning:
For interior installations where glass is not supported at the bottom edge, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
