This CRL Z-Series Square Type Flat Base Glass Clamp (SKU Z810GP) secures 3/8" (10 mm) glass and features a flat base for mounting to square tubing or other flat surfaces. Constructed of zinc casting with a powder-painted finish; stainless steel option available for greater exterior durability. Includes rubber gaskets (Z38SG) and an optional steel pin with grommet for additional weight support. Ideal as a flat base glass clamp for partitions, railings, windbreaks and other architectural glass installations.

For securing the Z-clamp to thin-wall tubing (less than 1/8”), use CRL’s ZB0LT socket head cap bolt and ZRNUT rivet-nut. Drill a 17/32” (13.5 mm) hole, then install the rivet-nut using the 34604 heavy-duty thread insert tool with the 34618 5/16” mandrel and nosepiece.

NOTE: 1/2" (12 mm) hole required if using the steel pin (included) for additional glass support.

Product Warning:

For interior installations where the glass is not supported from the bottom edge, CRL recommends pinning each glass panel to prevent slippage. Rubber gaskets and steel pins are provided with each clamp.
