Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). Designed for commercial and architectural glass doors, this door rail secures 1/2" (12 mm) monolithic tempered glass by applying bottom pressure through two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts the angled wedge action pulls the extrusions together—producing very high clamping force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail).

Product Details

Actual Product Height: 4-1/16" (103 mm). CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rails come ready-to-install; after rail installation attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the assembled adjustable door alignment slide. To fine-tune alignment after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts—the center bolt secures the slide; outer bolts adjust 1/8" (3.2 mm).

Ordering Information

• All Door Rails supplied with standard Kwik-Adjust™ Pivot Alignment System. Closer arms and floor or overhead pivots must be ordered separately.
• Models with locks include the lock mechanism; keyed cylinders or thumbturns ordered separately.
• End caps included in stock door rail lengths. Specify door rail length (including end caps) for custom length rails.
