The CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System is an engineered glass entrance solution that secures tempered glass with a patented bottom-wedge action. Two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions are compressed by a stainless steel bar tightened with socket head cap bolts; angled extrusions engage an angled rail groove to generate exceptional clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail). This makes the system ideal as a heavy-duty Wedge-Lock door rail for 1/2" glass in commercial glass entry applications.

Installation & adjustment

After installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the adjustable slide; the two outer bolts provide 1/8" (3.2 mm) in/out adjustment. Low-profile slide allows pivot placement other than the American Standard setback (2-3/4" / 69.8 mm) to accommodate out-of-square openings. Note: arms and pivots must be ordered separately.
