Our CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System features the exclusive patented Wedge-Lock® Glass Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This frameless glass door rail uses two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tensioned with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions wedge together in a matching rail groove to create exceptionally high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail), resulting in a secure, durable attachment for tempered glass doors.

The Wedge-Lock® system delivers faster installation than competing door rails. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. Rails arrive completely fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After mounting the rail, attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide already assembled in the rail.

The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails without removing the door. To fine-tune after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide, while the two outer bolts provide the 1/8" in/out adjustment. The low-profile slide accommodates pivots with slotted grooves and can be fabricated for vertically out-of-square openings.
