Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System, is a tempered glass door rail engineered for security and fast installation. The exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1) secures glass by applying downward pressure via two aluminum glass-retaining extrusions and a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled wedges pull the extrusions together and compress the door retaining gasket, generating exceptional holding force (more than 900 lbs. in the 9" Corner Rail).

Installation details: after rail installation attach door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable alignment slide already assembled in the rail. To fine-tune adjustment, remove the End Cap to access three socket head cap bolts—the center secures the slide, the outer bolts adjust +/-1/8" (3.2 mm). Low-profile slide and slotted pivots enable fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
