CRL Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) Setting Blocks (SKU: TPR563) — 90 durometer Shore A — engineered for structural glazing and storefront applications. These TPR setting blocks match the performance of traditional neoprene blocks while offering excellent chemical resistance and non-marring, non-staining contact with glass and frame materials. Available in the most popular neoprene block sizes, they work with modern structural glazing systems and specialty sealants used in commercial glazing projects.
Key differentiators:
- 90 durometer thermoplastic rubber for consistent load support in glazing
- Broad sealant compatibility: silicone, butyl, polyurethane, polysulfide
- UV stabilized for long-term exterior performance
- Available in standard neoprene block sizes for easy retrofit and replacement
Product Warning:
To ensure sealant-to-block compatibility, silicone sealant manufacturers can test accessory materials using ASTM C1087. Compatibility test results will be provided in writing. Testing typically requires approximately four weeks from receipt of samples. Job-specific compatibility testing prior to startup is recommended with each sealant manufacturer.
