CRL Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) setting blocks (90 durometer Shore hardness) offer neoprene-equivalent performance for glazing and window installations. Designed as non-marring, chemically resistant support blocks, they are compatible with modern structural glazing and silicone sealants, and are available in the most popular neoprene block sizes. Because sealant chemistry varies by manufacturer and job site, CRL recommends job-specific compatibility testing prior to startup.
Product Warning:
To confirm sealant-to-block compatibility, silicone sealant manufacturers can test accessory materials per ASTM C1087-87. Written test results are provided; testing typically requires about four weeks from sample receipt.
