The CRL8500 Series Floor Mounted Door Closer is a heavy-duty, floor-mounted door closer designed for commercial and high-traffic entryways, supporting doors weighing up to 800 lbs (363 kg). Available in 90º or 105º hold-open or no hold-open models and in three spring sizes to fit most standard installations, it pairs with CRL's Door Rail System for reliable, long-lasting performance.


The supplied 1/8" (3 mm) collar-height standard spindle is interchangeable with other spindles to match different finished floor heights. Accessories including cover plates, pivots, center-hung and offset arms are available to complete installations.

NOTE: Use an auxiliary floor or overhead door stop to prevent damage from over-extension of the door swing.
