Our innovative glass entrance solution, the CRL Wedge-Lock® Door Rail System (SKU: DR4TBL58SL), features the exclusive CRL Wedge-Lock® Securing System (U.S. Patents 6,434,905 and 6,912,818 B2; Canadian Patent 2,419,706; European Patent EP 1 404 939 B1). This glass door rail for 5/8" glass secures the glass by applying downward pressure from two glass-retaining aluminum extrusions via a flat stainless steel bar. As the bar is tightened with socket head cap bolts, angled extrusions seat into the rail groove and generate high clamping force (over 900 lbs. in the 9" corner rail). The same wedge action along a full 35-3/4" rail delivers exceptional holding strength and long-term stability.

The Wedge-Lock® system provides more than a secure attachment — it delivers the fastest installation time of any door rail system in the industry. Experienced installers can prepare a door for installation in under ten minutes. CRL Wedge-Lock® door rails ship fully fabricated and ready-to-install with end caps installed. After rail installation, simply attach the door arm or pivot (not included) to the adjustable door alignment slide pre-assembled in the rail. The standard Adjustable Door Alignment System allows ±1/8" (3.2 mm) adjustment toward or away from the jamb on both top and bottom rails, without removing the door.

To fine-tune the door after installation, remove the end cap to access three socket head cap bolts: the center bolt secures the slide; the two outer bolts adjust the slide ±1/8" (3.2 mm). The low-profile slide lets pivots with slotted grooves be positioned other than the American Standard setback of 2-3/4" (69.8 mm), enabling fabrication for vertically out-of-square openings.
